Taal Lake, Tagaytay

Taal Lake
--a freshwater lake in the province of Batangas, on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. The lake fills Taal Caldera, a large volcanic caldera formed by very large eruptions between 500,000 and 100,000 years ago. It is the country's third largest lake after Laguna de Bay and Lake Lanao. Volcano Island, the location of Taal Volcano's historical eruptions and responsible for the lake's sulfuric content, lies near the center of the lake. There is a crater lake on Volcano Island, which is in Lake Taal, which is located on Luzon Island. That crater lake is the world's largest lake on an island in a lake on an island, and it in turn contains its own small island, Vulcan Point.

Kalanggaman Island, Palompon, Leyte, Philippines

A remote island located in Palompon, Leyte. Recently got their electricity out of the sun energy. No residences in the island, just caretakers. This unique place is quite small for you to take a hike to the entire island shore. This is good place for beach lover, quiet and serene, has white sand and the famous long sandbar. Just be careful when you step down to the water because of the strong current of water. A local caretaker told us that almost every late afternoon the island would have heavy rains and storms. I can't agree more when we sailed out back to town, we were hit by big waves which was a little scary and funny at the same time.
Also in Palompon, you can also find Jordan Spring, few miles away from the proper. A nice spring bath could brighten up your day after you're long exposure to the heat. Kalanggaman Island can be accessed from Cebu to Palompon via boat. It's an overnight trip that takes around 4-6 hours.

WaterSports in Portofino

It was one of the adventures that we had. There's so much to celebrate. Though, for me it was one of a unexpected -- and I liked it. It was fun -- unpredictable. We simply had fun together. I never thought that we ended up in Portofino. It was never in my route. We didn't even know its location. We asked a lot of locals before we finally got there.  We came to the place unplanned. We didn't even had much food nor money to spend. We were looking for a public beach where we can just swim and go. Overall, it was amazing. This is the kind of place where I could also go and remember. I also recommend this to all my friends and to anyone  who likes beaches and water-sports.
